One of the worst imaginable tradgedies for our family happened early Friday morning, June 27, 2009. Our nephew (Tammy's son) Riley Cole Key was killed in a automobile accident. Words cannot express our loss and our sense of helplessness. We are deeply hurt and finding it pretty tough to understand. The funeral was held Monday morning, June 29, 2009, and Riley was laid to rest beside his "Papa", Jack Dube. We know they are now together. We wanted to thank all of our friends and family for their love and unending support. Look below for a short note from Tammy and couple pictures of our boy. Riley, you will be missed. Our world will never ever be the same...

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone for all of their thoughts and prayers.
Riley was the sun, the moon and the stars to me and it makes my heart warm to know that he was loved by so many.

Although Riley was only here a short time, he touched the lives of many and I am grateful that I got to share his life. He lived everyday to the fullest, and although I thought it wasn't the best idea, he didn't always worry about tomorrow, he just made sure he was having a good time. It has made me think we should all step back and do the same. Try to take the time to spend a little extra time enjoying life and the people we love. Give everyone an extra hug and tell them that you love them.

The love and support we have recieved from our friends and family and especially our rodeo family has been overwhelming. It has kept us going and warmed our hearts. Please never hesitate to call, email, write or text.

We have set up a scholarship fund in Rileys name. We thought we would help other kids since we didn't get the chance to send ours.
